to support this objective, the GPC Program has deployed multiple
applications including a workflow-based change control application and a
global product registration database.



The Sr. Analyst/Engineer works with his/her team, development teams and
business users in the maintenance and support of computer-based systems
deployed for use by the GPC Program. The application portfolio consists of
internally developed and third party products. This position is responsible
for the resolution of tickets within a defined timeframe using standard
processes, and ensuring all service level agreements and customer
satisfaction goals are achieved. Production support includes root cause
analysis, issue escalation, problem reporting and tracking, and assistance
with resolution of application problems.



Job Duties:

Production Support - Responsible for supporting internal and third party
applications that are used by GPC personnel. This involves working with
internal personnel and 3rd party vendors for troubleshooting and end user
support.



The position will be responsible for:

- Communicating effectively with end users on a daily basis to identify and
resolve application issues quickly, accurately and professionally.

- Working closely with internal and external IT groups ensuring application
and data integrity.

- Meeting with users in primary application areas to learn their business,
understand their support needs, discuss ticket issues, and to nurture and
maintain positive business relationships.

- Strictly adhering to support standards and procedures.



Required Technical Skills: Oracle PL/SQL, prior experience supporting
Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.



Experience developing and/or supporting web-based applications preferred.
Experience with ArisGlobal Register, Metastorm BPM, and Crystal Reports is
preferred.
