Description: QA Analyst will be responsible for QA testing, defect validation on a web-based booking engine. As a tester (QA) you will perform procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services of the company's websites meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements. You will be responsible for planning and executing tests, quality assurance, for our internet business to business systems. You will team up with an Analyst to support , the Analyst to support the business by ensuring that all problems and issues are addressed in a professional and timely manner. Required skills/competencies: * Work with web developers and web analyst to translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans and test scripts. * Develop test plans, test scripts, and conditions to match business requirements. * Execute test scripts, strong manual testing of system functionality, to ensure proper operation and identify and document gaps in the quality of the system. * Debug and troubleshoot system functionality issues * Use defined tools, Test Director, to report and track issues identified to resolution. * Becoming a valuable contributor on the Becoming a valuable contributor on the web quality assurance team * Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to team leads Preferred Experience: * 5+ years experience testing web based applications using manual methodologies, specifically browser based applications. * Experience in all phases of application development life cycle, specifically Quality Assurance Testing Skills. * 3+ years of combined website/eCommerce experience, preferably in the travel industry.
