Provide technical leadership and direction to team members * **Requirement #2** Job Title : SOX Controls Tester Location : Arlington, VA Duration : 2+ Months Description : *Execute internal control testing including tests of design of new controls for assigned area in support of the SOX compliance program. Execute test procedures and document test results in accordance with workpaper guidelines. Validate test results with control and process owners. Provide accurate and timely test status reports to test team Director. Track actual testing hours on a control basis for periodic reporting to a test team manager. * * *Includes the following: ** * Develop/Update Testing Plans (Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness) Schedule Testing and Design Walkthroughs as applicable Prepare Test Scripts and Design walkthrough procedures Perform Testing and walkthroughs Review Testing and walkthroughs of others Provide testing and walkthrough workpaper results to Risk Director OE Testing Status Reporting Prepare/Provide weekly/monthly OE testing status/results to Risk Director * * *skill: Junior (1-3 yrs) ** * *Skills: * Bachelor degree in Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired. Two years of experience in public accounting in an audit, SOX compliance or internal audit outsourcing role is desirable. Financial services industry knowledge; knowledge of GSEs a plus. Professional certification (CPA, CIA) is desirable. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
