Kindly do send your resume to sind...@boston-technology.com Work Location: NYC Area *QA Lead / Test Coordinator* Sr. QA Lead/ Test Coordinator for a Financial Accounting Implementation Project Key Responsibilities: The position reports into the Programme Test Manager for the Financial Accounting Implementation Project and is responsible for the following: Define the Strategy and Plan for Integration Testing initiatives and Cut Over/Conversion Testing initiatives for various projects, in line with the overall Test Strategy defined at the Program level Manage Test Life Cycle activities (for example, Test Strategy, Defect Tracking, Testing Estimation, Test Planning, etc.) either directly or indirectly as appropriate in a matrix based organization, at the Program Level. Manage Testing Services Delivery related to Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Cut Over/Conversion Testing, at the Program Level for the assigned projects. Monitor, Control & Report on the Test Planning, Test Design, and Test Execution across different project teams, at the Program level. Provide Defect Management services to the Program and publish reports & metrics from QualityCenter of daily, weekly and monthly basis, at the Program Level. Review Business Requirements and Functional Requirements for Testability. Participate in reviews and provide feedback on System Architecture, Design documents and Specifications from Programme Testing perspective. Create, Review and Approve on Individual Test Strategy & Test Plan for the different projects under the Program, as needed. Develop or re-use common or Credit Suisse methodologies, policies, standards, processes, tools, metrics, as well as drive the execution of testing for the project globally. Understand and implement the Testing Governance Model. Coordinate with Independent Test Managers to manage Testing expectations at the Program Level. Manage Project Quality related deliverables for the Program and report on compliance & non-compliance issues, as needed. Perform required Audits & Reviews of key artifacts or milestones as required and report on status. Represent Testing and Quality/Audit on all forums & meetings for the Program Test Mgmt Team. To provide update on Testing Status, Defects, Risks and Issues at Project, Program and Working Group meetings. Develop key performance indicators and reporting metrics for Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives. Server as a Central point/Guide and Testing SME contact for the Program. Experience and Skills Required/Desired: Strong QA methodology, in-depth understanding of QA process, SDLC process, testing tools (defect tracking, requirements gathering, automation, performance, etc.), as well as technical leadership skills 8 + years experience in Test management and proven history of implementing testing process/methodology Minimum 8 years involvement in the financial services industry - mainly in the Financial Accounting area. 5+ yearly experience in coordinating the testing efforts of large scale projects/programme and technical teams of complex hardware and software based products 5+ years experience working in a global team and in an Onshore/Offshore model 5+ years experience in Defect Management and Reporting using QualityCenter Ability to engage and influence IT management and ability to work in a strong/weak matrix organization. Ability to balance control responsibilities with the need to deliver pragmatically Extremely strong capacity to drive change and excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success Specific knowledge of Quality Management approaches, and Testing Tools (QualityCenter, QTP) and Practices Proven experience of metrics development ,reporting and root cause analysis/recommendations.
