Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems and applications. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Completes all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets. Serves as coach and mentor to application developers and technical team members. This resource must be able to work with the onshore application architects, offshore development team, and interface with the Oracle product team to help resolve issues/bugs as they surface. Other skills required would be knowledge of LDAP, SNMP, high availability architectures, networks, WebLogic performance tuning, and basic knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDLs, and security.
