Title:Senior Documentum Developer Rate: $55/hr CTC. Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6 months Overview: o Experience with developing Documentum software including strong development work on WDK applications o The ability to successfully work through all phases of a project life cycle. This position is typically achieved with 8 or more years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years in a System Analyst role. o Experience with general document management and document life cycle processes o Experience with Documentum (DFC) and Oracle APIs o Experience building applications in fault tolerant environments (clustering, load balancing) o A solid background in information or interface design and implementation of workflow. o Knowledge of .NET, SQL/DQL, VB6, ASP, XML, Java, Java Script, VB Script; *Position Description*: Note from the manager: It is important that each candidate have Documentum development experience (vs. Sys Admin). The manager will not entertain any resumes without this experience. *Description:* Selected individual will be a Sr. Developer for the Documentum Development team. The selected individual will use Documentum technology and industry standard tools to create custom integrations with Indus Asset Suite. This is not a right-to-hire position. Selected individual will be expected to work on site in Columbus, OH at least 4 days/wk 8:30am - 5:30pm at least during ramp up phase (first month). Beyond that, occasional telecommuting may be considered depending on project demands and the learning needs of the Jr.developers. Responsibilities will be carried out using AEP's Software Development Lifecycle Process. The selected individual will report to the IT Development Manager, but will also have a strong relationship with the Project Manager. Primarily responsibilities include oversight of design, coding, testing and debugging. Must demonstrate problem solving and decision-making success. Must have ability to work in a matrixed organization whereby specialists from various disciplines come together to complete a specific project. To be successful, this candidate must be dedicated, innovative and have a very strong knowledge of Documentum. The candidate will be a self-starter with solid technical and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must as the selected individual will be guiding the activities of Jr. Developers. Experience with Indus Asset Suite and complex Documentum integrations are a major plus. In addition, this candidate must have demonstrated the ability to successfully work through all phases of a project life cycle. This position is typically achieved with 8 or more years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years in a System Analyst role. Candidates have typically obtained a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field. *Roles and Responsibilities: * o Senior development role within Development team o Oversight of design, development, quality, testing and debugging. o Coordinates work done by members of the Document Management Development team o Is responsible for ensuring completion of tasks assigned to the Document developers o Provides periodic status updates and details on project delivery of all outstanding tasks that must be delivered by the /Document Management team. *Required skills.
