Client in MA is looking for a very *senior level DB2 DBA- Must have up towards 10 years experience*. Location:Framingham MA- Rates are open. This is a phone to hire!! Duration: 3 Months Requirements: 1. 6 – 8 years experience working as a DB2 DBA 2. Practical knowledge of DB2 database features, including snapshots, lock monitors, db2pd, and other db2 utilities 3. Previous experience working with a DB2 EEE environment 4. Demonstrated ability to identify poor performing SQL statements and provide tuning suggestions 5. Expert knowledge of DB2 design best practices and SQL optimization 6. Understanding of DB2 optimization techniques when dealing with big data sets 7. Experience using DB2 query profiles 8. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop plans to resolve them 9.
