Below are the skill requirements and daily duties Solid understanding of Relational database model. Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server as well as it’s tools and utilities. Solid understanding of MS SQL Server maintenance and administration. Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with MS SQL Server database administration (MS SQL Server 2005\2008).Ability to perform Backup restores operation (SSMS or script).SSIS creation and maintenance (SQL Server 2005\2008). Solid knowledge of TSQL. Knowledge of theses is a plus: MS SQL Server Replication. MS SQL Server Reporting SSRS.MS <http://ssrs.ms/> SQL Server Data warehousing. Understanding of DR concepts. Daily tasks and responsibilities: Review SQL Server alert and troubleshoot them. Create new or modify existing database maintenance plans.
