JOB TITLE:* SAS ADMINISTRATOR/DEVELOPER*

LOCATION: RALEIGH, NC

RATE:  50/hr

*JOB DESCRIPTION*:

   - Client Needs a *SAS Administrator/Developer* to work as part of a
   business case development and facilitation team in support of a business
   solution for Medicaid Budgeting and Forecasting under the joint effort of
   the NCMMIS+ Program and the Division of Medical Assistance.
   - Within the outlined steps, certain high-level tasks and deliverables
   will occur which will be specific to the Forecast, Budgeting and Reporting
   components of the business solution.
   - *The SAS Administrator/Developer* will serve and perform as the SAS
   Administrator and SAS developer for a Windows-based SAS enviroment
   comprising Forecast Sudio (FS), and Financial Management (FM).


*REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:*

   - Demonstrated ability to perform as SAS administrator and SAS
   developer.
   Experience in extracting, transforming and loading source data into the
   SAS environment from multiple sources including mainframe DBMS and
   application system transaction files, third-party software packages, and
   spreadsheet applications.
   - Strong familiarity with mainframe development and execution
   environments, and state-of-the-industry reporting and data management tools.
   - Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing and optimizing
   Windows-based SAS products within existing infrastructures.
   - Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders: technical
   and end-user, staff and management.
   - Ability to work independently.
   - Hands-on working knowledge of Forecast Sudio (FS), and Financial
   Management (FM).


*DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE*:

   - Experience in financial forecasting, statistics, and financial
   performance applications
