Sr. Java Developer

Location:Wisconsin

 

 

Description:

A Sr. Java Developer to help implement 3rd party caching solutions for our
Path to High Reliability + Growth (P2HR+G) Project.

Under minimal direction, this position will identify and analyze business
problems at the program or system level, design solutions, and identify
impact of proposed changes for projects of moderate complexity. System
design and construction are the main focal points for this position, along
with growing proficiency with various development tools and environments on
multiple platforms.    

    

Primary Responsibilities:    

.         Analyze proposed changes at a system level and recommend designs
and solutions that minimize impact to interfacing systems while maximizing
code re-usability and maintaining business value

.         Create and execute unit, system, and integration tests and
validate test results independently

.         Prepare effective written communication to document project
status, issues, and requirements and report status to project lead

.         Code structured program changes to new or existing programs using
multiple programming languages/platforms

.         Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices

    

Preferred Qualifications:    

.         Multiple years of Java programming experience using multiple,
databases, development environments and platforms

.         Multiple years experience performing application and system design
and troubleshooting tasks
