Position: *ETL Lead with SSIS* Location: *Mclean**, VA*** Duration: *10 Months* *Client is looking for Green Card holders or US citizens* *Job Description:* - Design/Develop/Test ETL jobs based on business requirements - Productionalize the ETL Jobs - Document ETL Specs, File Layouts, Operational and Technical Requirements. - Assist DBA in Performance tuning activities. - Assist in Business Analysts to gather technical requirements. - Candidate will perform developer or tester roles based on project requirements. - Assist data modeler to create tables needed for ETL processing. - Develop ETL framework - Manage 2 to 3 developers and assign work - Responsible for delivery of the code for the assigned project *Required skills:* - 8+ years of *ETL* experience with *SQL Server 2000 (DTS)* and *SQL server 2005 (SSIS) * - Must have *.NET, VB Scripting*. - Must have Multidimensional Database loading experience using *SSIS*Tool - Strong experience with Auditing and Error Handling *Framework*. - Flat files processing including XML. - *Unix* Scripting - Auto Sys Job Creation - *Performance Tuning* to support *business intelligence* systems such as Microstrategy and SAS. - Familiar with *SSRS, SSAS 2005/2008* is preferred. - Strong understanding of database logical and physical modeling. - Familiar with *SQL Server 2005 DBA* tasks such as creation of tables, indexes, etc., - Familiar with *SDLC* life cycle methodology - Testing *ETL* Jobs. - Prior *Financial* Industry and FreddieMac/Fannie Mac experience Preferred - Familiar with Clear Case/version controlling tool - Strong Documentation and Communication skills is a must - Work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
