Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 6 Months *FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW* If candidate has experience with Opnet please list which components they are familair with. Skills: Cisco * DNS* IP Networking * Networking principles * TCP/IP* Responsible for engineering and implementation of network management services technologies across the LAN/WAN and ensure they are properly supported in production. Act as a networking expert and resource for peers and management inside American. Apply network application technology to reduce network engineering & operational costs and improve reliability and productivity. Participate in testing, and the documentation of network services support technologies. Assist in developing communication strategies and communication standards for the enterprise. Consult with clients to advise them of potential network management services solutions and avenues for deployment. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess: B.S. with Networking experience and/or CCNE or equivalent knowledge. Network engineering: Experience with Cisco network devices, TCP/IP, & network routing fundamentals. Network Services: VPN Management, WAN Simulation & engineering, Network Services development, Domain Management, Domain Name Server (DNS) Management, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Management, Network Time Protocol (NTP) Management, IP Management, various network & application traffic capture probes. Must be familiar with Network Performance Management systems.
