Position : SQL/Teradata Analyst/developer
Location : Richmond VA
Duration : 12 M

Skills:
-DA skills
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to
communicate to the auditors what they found as a result of their
testing. (This is the hardest part in the interviewing process.)
-Strong SQL skills are a must
-Req documents are very loose- they must be able to develop
requirements to the point that they know how to run queries to test
and learn from the data- to find exceptions and be able to tell: is it
us? Is it timing? And be able to categorize errors and communicate
them to the team.
-Delivery and communication are important

Preferred:
-Manager likes very articulate communication .
-Short resumes- 2 pages. It is hard to sift through a person*s
strengths in a 10 page resume.
-TD is preferred, Oracle next and SQL Server lastly but only if they
are really strong otherwise.
-SAS would be a plus, they do not have very much in their group, but
it would be nice
-Financial experience would be helpful. But not required.

Manager is looking for technical SQL people, not BO.
These folks must understand data and communicate well- they will take
care of end to end work with the auditor to develop requirements and
find out what the auditor needs and develop it in a coherent format.
They will build out reports and deliver them. They will be writing SQL
to validate business process Oracle/SQL is ok better than MS, but TD
SQL is best. Not a DBA type person.
