JOB TITLE: PeopleSoft Portal Developer LOCATION: Austin, Texas
START DATE: ASAP (early November) DURATION: 4-5 months with possible renewal JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will develop PeopleSoft Enterprise application information systems, design programs, prepare program specifications and code, test, and debug PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal pageletes, links, and content references to PeopleSoft applications and integrated 3rd party applications. The PeopleSoft Portal Developer will follow CPA coding standards, analyze application specifications and integrated 3rd party data inputs/outputs, build and test solution programs, and assist in installation and configuration of system software. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * * 1. Analyze requirements and functional specifications for Enterprise Resource Planning ERP applications 2. Write detailed technical specifications 3. Interpret program operating codes 4. Analyze PeopleSoft user authentication methodology and security architecture 5. Design and code portal pageletes, links, content, and component application solutions 6. Input test data and provide resolutions for failed tests 7. Document coding, configurations, and installation procedures 8. Communicate effectively and correctly in writing and verbally on a variety of business matters as required 9. Works with PeopleSoft technical and functional resources effectively 10. Performs other duties as assigned * Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 4 PeopleSoft Tools, including PeopleCode, Data Mover Scripts and Application 4 PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal installation, configuration, and coding 4 Experience interacting and communicating well with functional and technical team leads * * * Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 5+ Experience working with PeopleSoft 3rd party applications. 5+ PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal experience integrating Financials, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, Enterprise Learning Management, or Enterprise Performance Management 5 PeopleSoft experience with enterprise implementations and/or upgrades 3 A proven ability to work effectively across multiple groups and functional areas (including working w/subject-matter-experts, leveraging resources), where testing / test reporting is concerned. 3 Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). 3 Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff on the project. 2+ Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams (e.g., portfolio/project managers, domain experts, users, and software engineering team) to design and deploy business information systems across the enterprise. 2 Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems. 2 Experience configuring Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) services or implementing an identity management system that is integrated with a PeopleSoft environment. 2 Understanding of PeopleSoft Security hierarchy and setup (Role-level, Permission Lists, User Profiles, Field-level, etc) across application components 2 Establishing/documenting and communicating standards, best practices, fixes, and providing direction/recommendations 1 Serving in a lead position on at least 1 full lifecycle implementation of PeopleSoft Regards, *Chandra Shekar* INFOKONS LLC chandra.she...@infokons.com www.infokons.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
