This position is for an ETL Developer with deep expertise with Ab Initio.
The ETL Developer will be the individual responsible for all aspects of the
Symphony program’s ETL requirements. The individual in this position will be
responsible for the technical design and implementation of ETL tasks.
Specific areas of oversight will include the ETL processes used to source,
transform and load the data. This person will work on a professional,
collaborative team that will have a major impact on the business success.



*Skills*:



This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in
Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent experience.



   - Must have strong *Ab Initio* ETL experience
   - Minimum of 5 years designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Ab
   Initio
   - Detailed practical knowledge of data migration principles and practices
   including experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools and best
   practices
   - Ability to analyze data structures and design processes and procedures
   to migrate data from source to destinations systems.
   - Demonstrate knowledge of data migration optimization, cleansing, and
   quality evaluation techniques.
   - Minimum of 5 years of OLTP/OLAP and database programming experience
   - 5 years of database experience (Oracle, DB2)
   - Minimum 1 year Mainframe experience
   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
   - Self starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual
   skills
   - Must be able to manage time and projects efficiently
   - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
   - Must be able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all
   times

*Description:* - Corporate Classified ETL requests. Receive assignment from
request list. Translate request into design, implement and test ETL
solution. Work on 4-5 member team. Develop ETL and Shell Scripts to move
data from the DW to the Corporate Classified EssBase solution.  Perform unit
and integration testing



*Job Functions: *



·         Develop ETL solutions for the Corporate Classified solution as
assigned by the Technical Manager and Technical Leads.

·         Unit testing

·         Integration testing



*Skill and Experience Requirements:*



Need 1-2 highly skilled Ab Initio developers meeting the following
requirements:



·         Minimum of 5 years ETL development experience.

·         Minimum of 2 years of development experience with Ab Initio.

·         *Minimum of 3 years of development experience in an AIX
environment. (must have)*

·         *Minimum of 3 years of development experience with korn shell
scripting. (must have)*

·         Minimum of 3 years of development experience loading either Oracle
or DB2.

·         Strong SQL Skills required.

·         Strong testing and documentation skills required.

·         Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler is preferred.

·         Experience working with extremely large datasets is preferred.

·         These consultants will be assigned to do reviews, unit and
integration testing.
