This role will facilitate both infrastructure and customer facing projects. He or she will also be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of multiple technology domains and contribute his or her ideas as part of an Application Infrastructure team. The candidate will work closely with the support staff and assist on issues that are infrastructure-related or that require additional expertise to resolve. *Required Skills :* Experience in engineering and administering IBM MQSeries products (6.0 and 7.0) Experience migrating from MQ 6.0 to MQ 7.0 Has strong understanding of MQ clustering Experience with Pub / Sub messaging on MQ 6.0 and MQ 7.0 Is able to provide 24x7 WebSphere MQ on-call support in an H/A environment Has experience working with Security exits ( MQAUSX ) Can troubleshoot TCP/IP intercommunication within zoned-network architecture Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation H/A v4.1+(Clustering) to provide an H/A environment Prefer experience in Unix systems administration using Solaris Zones / LDOMs Some Unix Shell Scripting Hardware / Software architecture, design, testing and troubleshooting Experience working as part of project team and can handle multiple projects simultaneously Self motivated Positive customer interfacing skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Candidate must be a team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources. Must have excellent Written and Oral communication skills and posses ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive. A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Work experience. *Preferred Skills :* Experience and Support of IBM MQ Series products (6.0 and 7.0) Websphere MQ API Experience with Applications using the MQ Clients Working knowledge of J2EE technologies and Websphere Application Server Java Unix Scripting and general Unix Administration.
