Senior WebLogic Architect (Application Server Administration/System Analysis and Development) for the ongoing implementation of our client's Data Warehouse, the largest and most integrated social services warehouse in America.
The Warehouse gives business users extensive ad hoc reporting, querying and analysis capabilities. It is used to analyze caseload dynamics, do mandated reporting, contain costs, increase revenues, manage budgets, place liens and claims, detect fraud and abuse, and respond to auditors. Hundreds of users throughout the agency run 12,000 reports and ad hoc queries monthly. The ideal candidate will be strong in WebLogic (11g) and WebLogic Portal with some large Oracle data warehouse experience. This opportunity is based in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: . 3 years web application development on a large Oracle data warehouse, and administration of a middle tier application server. . 3 years experience with SQL+, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripts, preferably Solaris. . 3 years experience as WebLogic administrator: installing, maintaining, and trouble-shooting WebLogic Application Server, and a Portal that uses J2EE technology . 3 years experience with Java and programming in JavaScript; J2EE. . 2 years experience managing system security including single sign on and LDAP spreferably Oracle Internet Directory and Enterprise User Security on a large scale. .
