- Participate in the requirements gathering for data requirements
- Review and approve data requirements
- Track changes to data requirements
- Review and approve documentation of sources (inbound) for
the servicing data
- Review and approve documentation of consumers (outbound)
of the servicing data
- Work with the technical & business teams to help with the
mapping effort (MIDAS, SBO, Servicing Satellite, Canonical Data Model,
Enterprise Data Dictionary)
- Drive requirements for Audit capability of data movement
and transformation
- Review unit test cases
- Responsible for developing recommendations for data
strategies to meet FMAC data governance requirements
- Responsible for reviewing data requirements, analyzing
viable alternatives, making recommendations; reviewing design, specifying
standard requirements, obtaining consensus with stakeholders, test prep, and
documenting risks, issues & resolutions
- Review data models
- Review technical documentation for mapping to the CDM
- Review and approve data movement analysis
- Review and approve data translation analysis and data
integration requirements
- Responsible for ensuring the Servicing data dictionary is
integrated into the current FMAC Enterprise Data Dictionary
- Responsible for data profiling
- Responsible for data quality resolution
- Responsible for data movement controls and metrics
- Review and approve test data
- Review and approve test results for data quality, data
movement, data migration, and data quality resolution.
- Review and approve results of test cases for data controls
for parallel runs
- Review and approve final data migration load test results
- Review and approve production release test results
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Information
Management Standards
- Responsible for reviewing and approving the Servicing
Reporting platform
- Responsible for rationalizing to a Servicing data model
throughout the project
skills:
- Experience understanding data and techniques for analyzing
data.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written/oral communication skills, including the
ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with a range
of audiences
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work to tight
deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Working knowledge of DataFlux
- Experience gathering and documenting business and data
requirements
- Ability to analyze problems, identify and define an
appropriate solution and create requirements
Ability to function effectively on teams to accomplish a
common goal
Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and manage
multiple tasks
Ability to work under limited supervision
Knowledge of Mortgage Banking terminology
