Business Analyst with Financial Background Location: NC Job Purpose/ Description: Seeking a Lead Application Analyst for the Institutional IT Delivery Channel within Shared Services. Projects may include small to medium sized enhancement projects and multi-year, multi-phase strategic Roadmap projects. A successful candidate will be responsible for end to end delivery of application solutions providing functionality and process automation in support of business capabilities required. Drive continuous improvements and strong relationships within technology, operations, marketing/digital strategy, and business lines. Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include gathering and documenting user, functional and non-functional requirements; conduct business and systems analysis for production support issues, any enhancements and strategic changes. Candidate will prepare business requirement documents (RD) and functional requirement documents (FRD), complete all required reviews of the same and obtain user and technology approvals as per TIAA-CREF's standard project methodology and governance; prepare and execute integration/system test plans and test cases, review the same with user and technology stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals; provide estimates for requirements gathering, testing, implementation tasks; execute Change Management. Support Project Manager in all business and technology project activities through scoping, estimating, project planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and launch. Drive continuous improvements and strong relationships within technology, operations, marketing/digital strategy, and business lines. Required education/experience: * 2-10 years of Business/Application Analyst experience, preferably in banking or finance. * Good analytical and problem solving skills; ability to follow through to successful resolution. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Good understanding of SDLC.
