Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Quality Improvement Process Support
Location: central Illinois.
Duration: 9+ Months
Max Hourly Rate: USD $50.00

Client  currently seeks a Business Analyst – Data Quality Improvement
Process Support (Geographic Information Systems) to join our team in
central Illinois.

Expectations:
- Learn, understand and document GIS data and tool business partner
processes and requirements and be able to relay this into technology
terms.  Most of these requirements come from P&C Underwriting or
Actuarial.
- Be able to understand enough about GIS technology, technology
components and flow to be an effective BA to help the project teams.
- Track tool upgrades and roadmap and track data upgrades and progress
for projects.
- Understand and comply with Service Management, ITIL and Project
Methodology to be able to help coordinate and track part of the work
and compliance.
- Effectively lead meetings when needed, effectively communicate in
written and oral form.  Will involve sending business partner
communications and could include updating web sites or sharepoint with
information.
- Multitask, stay organized and help the team organize information.
-- Effectively utilize MS Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.  Must have the
ability to document and draw diagrams that reflect business or
technology flows.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a strong team player
- Meet with other business analysts within the GIS team to ensure the
BA work for the team is understood and clarified across all of the
project and service work.
- Applies initiative and adaptability in daily activities
- Stong work ethic

-Other qualitification/skills that would be helpful:
- An analyst with a geography degree or GIS analyst background is
helpful.
- An analyst with a technical background or experience would be
helpful as in a technical business analyst.
- An analyst with prior P&C insurance experience would be helpful.
- An analyst with ITIL or PMP certifications would be helpful.

Required Qualifications
5 Years- Business Analysis - Requirements Gathering
Other Required Qualifications/Experience:
4 Years- Business Analyst
5 Years- Writing initiative-level communications and facilitating
review and publication.
5 Years- Leading development of various communication plans and
strategies.
5 Years- Leading work to plan, developing, and executing
5 Years- Learn, understand and document GIS data and tool business
partner processes and requirements and be able to relay this into
technology terms. Most of these requirements come from P&C
Underwriting or Actuarial.
