- should have 10-12 years of experience of which 8-10 years should be in *SAP* Basis. - should monitors efforts of BASIS administrators on tasks such as designing and implementing the landscape for *SAP* ERP and Net Weaver, Client Strategy, Basis Administration, Security Strategy, User Creation/Management, Authorizations management, System installs, System patching, Work Bench Organizer, Data Dictionary, Transport Management system, and the Backup Recovery Strategy. - should serve as a coordinator for *technical* services provided by the BASIS team, the client infrastructure provider and vendors / other service providers. - should act as *technical* liaison to other program teams including Functional, Change Management, Enterprise Architecture and Deployment and advise on methodologies and practices to manage and plan system capacity based on projected growth rate to ensure system performance remains at acceptable levels. - would be responsible for supporting the development of a common * technical* framework to design and implement a consistent and standard architecture. - would be supporting the development of practices and procedures to manage technologies based on "best practice" standards. He should have extensive Basis administration expertise in a SUN/UNIX/Oracle environment.
