The ideal candidate will be able to quickly integrate into the project and will be working closely with team members and Module Leads to deliver the designed modules. The candidates should have 3-5 years of IT experience with strong technical, communication and documentation skills and be a very good Team Player. Responsibilities: • Develop, test, debug and implement Java and Web Service based applications. • Document test plans as needed and communicate/publish it to the required stakeholders. • Keep current with industry trends including emerging technologies and best practices • Report to the Module Lead about the development activities • Should work well within the given schedules. Skills for Java resources • Sr Developers: 5 years of experience in developing applications in Java/J2EE especially with Java web service development. Should be able to mentor the Junior programmers • Jr Developers: 3 years of experience in developing applications in Java/J2EE especially with Java web service development. • Strong in of Java 1.5/1.6, RESTful Web Services and Hibernate • Strong experience of Oracle and Informix Databases. • Experience in unit testing framework such as JUnit. • Strong understanding of database fundamentals and expertise in writing stored procedures and SQL queries.
