Amount of total experience required for this position (not including any schooling) is 1yr 5yrs. Category Description of Specific Skill/Ability Weight Technical This position will require the candidate to have working knowledge / experience in 2 or more of the following technologies listed in order of importance 1. Web Development: ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> (2002,2003,2005,2008,2010) or classic ASP (3.0) / VBScript 2. SQL Server: T-SQL, stored procedure optimization, database design 3. Component Development: VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, C# WCF, Web Services, or VB 6.0 / COM+ 4. Rich Client-Side Web Development (AJAX): JavaScript, CSS 40% Problem Solving Ability to isolate components of a problem, interpret implication, identify multiple solutions. Strong analytical thinking skills are required. 25% Interpersonal Ability to develop good rapport with both internal and external Customers. Good communication is a must. 20% Vision Proficient knowledge of the application they support and the ability to see the big picture of vertical application area they support. 10% Planning & Organizing Sets priorities, develops course of action to achieve objectives. Ability to complete tasks on time as well as tasks derived from ambiguous business requirements. Create tasks that can be assigned to other developers. 5% Progression/Advancement The position of Programmer II will have the following progression plan established. Progression from Programmer II to Programmer III/Systems Analyst will require an additional 1 year of experience minimum. Near expert level knowledge of or expanded knowledge of technologies implemented in the applications supported by the individual, task ownership and knowledge of all aspects of the application vertical. Individual will spend a max of 3 years in this position.
