*This is truly a technical analyst role*. The *key skill sets are*, *UNIX
commands (must be able to read and understand them), and sql commands*. The
expectation is that this individual will interface with internal client
 understand what there issue are with the app go back and look at the code
and commands and then huddle with the offshore development then and then
test.



*Must have excellent communication skills*



*Responsibilities: *

   - A technical business analyst is required to take client requirements
   and understand the changes required by analyzing the application's current
   processing logic by looking at Autsosys jobs, Korn shells, Sybase stored
   procedures and Java code.
   - Document the business issue or request, the current processing flow and
   the proposed changes (including HTML prototypes if necessary) in business
   terms; document the technical solution including new and changes to Autosys
   jobs, Korn shells, Sybase stored procedure, tables and Java code.
   - The documentation must be clear and precise so it can be efficiently
   coded by our offshore team.  Once the offshore team completes the coding,
   the person will need to perform testing and then coordinate with our clients
   to perform UAT testing.
   - Able to coordinate over 8 small projects concurrently.

*Requirements:*

   - *The BA skill sets* include strong communication skills (verbal and
   written), can run meetings, evidence that the candidate wrote Meeting
   Minutes, Business Requirement documents, Functional Requirement documents
   and Technical Requirement documents (samples will be required).
   - Knowledge of basic Excel functions and data analysis is required.
   - *Technical skill sets* include knowledge of Unix commands, Unix
   scripting (e.g. KORN Shell), Sybase stored procedures
   - General Database skills including creating ER diagrams, HTML
   prototyping and J2EE
   - The ability to multi-task across many projects is critical
