Role: Weblogic Admin / Release Engineer
Location : NY
Duration : 4-5 months

*Description*:
Develops and maintains the build environment, the source code control
system and the issue tracking systems. Creates and tests builds, resolves
issues, applies labels to file and communicates build status. Responsible
for building scripts and installation procedures. Proactively identifies
and implements procedures to streamline the build process which may drive
the development and maintenance of an automated build process with
automatic notification of build and unit test failure problems to
responsible engineers. May assist engineering management in making choices
for source code management systems, and other development and testing
tools. Knowledge of quality methods and procedures as well as PC, PVCS,
Unix and scripting languages is required for successful performance in this
role. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field. Or
equivalent work experience. Typically has 7 to 10 years of IT work
experience with at least 2 years related to release management. Proficient
in the use of project management, spreadsheet and database query tools. Has
subject matter expertise in release management process and understands SW
Deployment..

*Customer Specific Requirements:
*As part of the Solutions design process this role will be responsible for
interfacing with the Senior Solutions Engineers and the Work Intake
coordination roles to develop a virtual team to support all solutions
project implementation activities. In addition this role will also provide
to the Project Management team project status updates relating to
infrastructure build-out, testing and turnover activities. This position
will also be responsible to ensure project activities and issues are
tracked and addressed to ensure project infrastructure deliveries remain on
schedule.

 This role is responsible for coordinating all project implementation
activities and resources including but not limited to the following
technologies and services.
- Unix, Linux and Windows Server and Operating systems infrastructure
- Storage, Backup and Virtualization Services
- Network, SSL, Load balancer, Firewall and Security Infrastructures and
Service
- Application Installation and Move-up activities
- Application Testing
- Quality Gate submission and approvals
- Pre Production Checklists
- Virtual Team creation to support implementation activities
The Implementation coordination role will also ensure that all design
requirements are meet during the testing and acceptance phase.

*Job Requirements*
*Core technologies*:
Should have 6+ year experience in Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache, IIS, J2ee.
Should be very experienced on Weblogic configuration and clustering
Should be experienced in mysql, php, python.
Should have deep understanding of Infrastructure Architecture.
Should have good understanding of Global Load Balancer, Load Balancer, F5,
DNS, Firewalls, LDAP
UNIX/LINUX scripting experience is must.
Should have good understanding of high availability, DR & BCP.

*Other responsibilities*:
Should have experience and complete understanding from provisioning, server
builds, application middleware builds, firewalls, load balancer, DNS.
Should be able to provide inputs to Architects in project designs.
Should be able to lead teams of more than 8 members and should be able to
co-ordinate between multiple teams.
Main role of this position would be not only to be a good application /
middleware engineer but be able to lead the projects from intake till the
go - live.
Should be able to coordinate work intake process, assign resources to the
project, maintain resource analysis metrics and availability information
for engineer to support staffing of projects in the pipeline of current
workload.
Should be able to lead multiple projects at any given time. Should be able
to own the whole process.
