Title: Oracle Golden Gate Developer ,CA
Contract: 6+months

Must know cross platform Goldengate Replication (Oracle to Teradata ,
Oracle to MS SQL SERVER)

Job Description:

This position is for Oracle golden gate developer(not DBA position). The
Candidate will implement and support Oracle golden gate replication
components across many databases. Working closely with many application
teams and replacing existing near real time replications with golden gate
replications. Candidate should provide operational support as well.
Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant experience in implementing and maintaining Golden Gate
replications across multiple Oracle and non oracle databases.
5+ years of experience in Oracle sql, PL/SQL.
Experience in Unix/Linux operating systems.
3+ years of experience in Shell and perl scripting.
Oracle 10g, 11g administration is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Configure and build Golden Gate Extracts/replicat for multiple
databases.
2. Configure and build heartbeat monitoring in Golden Gate.
3. Configure error handling for restart, logging, production support and
status reporting in GG.
4. Identify and produce documentation of best practices.
5. Trouble shooting and performance tuning golden gate replications.
6. Implementing necessary monitoring scripts for Golden gate in unix/perl
scripting.
7. Operational support experience
8. Creating database objects in operational data store and maintaining
them.
9. working with project management team to plan release activities.
10. Working closely with multiple teams and providing golden gate solutions
as and when needed.
11. Working with Oracle on SRs for critical issues.
12. Strong oral and written communication skills along with problem solving
skills.
