*SAP FI/CO CONSULTANT* *Job Description*
*SAP FI/CO PROJECT OVERVIEW* Our client, a significant oil and gas interest, is in the process of establishing a new IT portfolio for its onshore business. As part of this initiative a new ERP platform has been established. This platform is based on SAP and a financial model of Operator-As-Operator. In order to be properly utilized, this new tool must be converted from the legacy ERP system, Excalibur, into SAP FI/CO and all data must be successfully loaded using WinShuttle as the main data loading tool. *RESPONSIBILITIES* Currently the main responsibility is to ensure the historical JVA items are mapped properly and converted into the new system so that the client has the ability to run Prior Period Adjustments (PPA) without the need to keep legacy system alive. Since this project is in full swing, this immediate need requires that the contractor be prepared to walk in and deliver results without significant delay. To be qualified for this opportunity, candidates must present with relevant experience from similar conversion projects. Additionally, candidates MUST have experience with the following tools/processes/skills: *- SAP FI/CO * *- WinShuttle * *- Previous conversion experience with SAP FI/CO JVA * *- Previous experience with Excalibur is strongly preferred* In addition the selected resource must be able to work independently and with a clear understanding of the tasks to be addressed and the deadlines in place. The selected individual must be able quickly learn the existing client financial model while being comfortable asking for clarification if issues arise. Please note that the key project manager/technical resource is located off-shore so effective communication across time zones and cultures is critical to project success.
