Rate - 45 to 50/hr ( MAX )
Job Description * Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience testing data warehouse components and data applications * Strong command on data validation and automation concepts * Strong command on data warehouse/ETL testing * Must have a strong experience with SQL and related functions. * Experience in Informatica mapping testing and validation * Good understanding of MicroStrategy or similar reporting tool * Experience in data validation tools is a plus. * Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies required; automated and manual test processes, black box, white box and gray box testing, test cases design, scripting, execution, and automated test tools. * Must be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle. * Must be a self-starter who can work independently without direct supervision. * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Utilize complex computer operations (intermediate programming in 3rd and 4th generation languages, relational databases, and operating systems) and advanced features of software packages (word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.). * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. * Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
