POSITION: *Senior Network Engineer* LOCATION: White Plains, NY DURATION: 6 + Months INTERVIEW TYPE : Phone hire *Major Purpose of Job: * -The candidate for this position should have extensive hands on technical skills designing and deploying Cisco VoIP solutions. -Additionally, this candidate should have strong project management skills to ensure that all implementation details are identified and planned for to ensure a seamless, successful migration to the new Cisco VoIP system. -The candidate should have experience with legacy PBX telephone systems, specifically the Siemens HiPath 4000, and expert knowledge of Cisco VoIP phones and Cisco's Unified Communications Manager. -The candidate should also have in-depth knowledge of Cisco switches and routers, including hardware and IOS software, configuration and troubleshooting. -This candidate will be responsible for Identifying legacy phone system inventory, wiring issues, analog phone issues, PoE switch issues and develop a plan and schedule to migrate all NYPA sites to Cisco VoIP. -This will include identifying all technical and logistical challenges and developing a plan and schedules to address these issues.
