*Job title: SSIS DBA* *Work location: New York, NY* *Duration of project: 6-12 months* *Interview: In-person required* Job requirement: *Minimum experience required: 9 years* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) tool and Environment. Create, Edit, Maintain ETL processes utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) from a diversity of data sources including other servers, flat files, MS Access and Excel. Implementing SSIS (ETL) to extract and transform data from RDBMS and Flat files/CSV, SQL Server 2008 instances and to load into staging and then to DW for further Data Analysis and Reporting by using multiple transformations provided by SSIS such as Data Conversion, Conditional Split, Bulk Insert, merge and union all. Must have a solid understanding of SQL query writing and relational database systems. Conducts detailed analysis of defined systems specifications, develops all levels of block diagrams and flow charts. Deep understanding and development of ETL processes, T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views) Ability to performance tune with the applicable ETL tool and SQL where applicable. Experience in creating SSIS packages, maintaining existing SSIS packages, and creating SSIS batch jobs to meet requirements. Excellent ability to create SQL scripts, perform validation in SSIS, work with large and complex data sources. Candidates must be able to operate in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines, and rapidly changing requirements.
