Skills Required Analytical: Ability to analyze project requests, interpret
business requirements, manage the project life cycle around implementing
and supporting the final product. The ability to manage the issues, risks,
and activities across a portfolio of work is required.



Technical: The resource should have some familiarity with QA lifecycle
including Automation tools and benefits on both Mainframe and distributed
architectures to provide input, but will not have a 'hands-on' technical
role. The resource would manage QA projects using these skill sets. MS
office skills including Visio and Project are required. The role requires 5
plus years of experience in a similar position. Experience working in a PMO
environment as a PMO Analyst is strongly preferred. Experience with HP PPM
is a strong plus



NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Financial industry experience is preferred. An understanding of Capital
markets is highly preferred.



The individual must exhibit a great deal of personal initiative and
accountability

The person must have the ability to communicate across all levels of the
organization.



A detailed understanding of off-shore development practices; decision
metrics for determining when to use various sourcing models, critical
success factors, standard industry practices, etc.



The selected individual will possess constructive problem-solving skills.

Position Description We are looking for a middle level consultant to fill
this role.



The role requires the interaction directly with business and operations
personnel, other IT groups and senior management on both the Technology QA
and Business organizations.



* Support Executive Director and VP in overall project activities to ensure
that IT investments are planned and managed in alignment with the
Assign-Discover-Commit process.

* Manage internal IT Relationships to facilitate portfolio planning and
reprioritization to ensure that IT investments generate Business Value.

* Perform analyses to understand Business Demand and impacts of Portfolio
Reprioritizations, including ratios, metrics, headcount, and risk.

* Analyze materials for dashboard and PPM inclusion and to facilitate
decision making related to Portfolio, Program and Project investments.

* Collect and consolidate content for Executive Level reporting related to
Program/Projects, Operational Stability, Financial Management, Risk
Management, Headcount and Offshore Metrics, Portfolio Highlights and
Business Results.

* Manage Partner Provider Relationships to drive collaboration with
external groups.

* Support standardization & leveraging of best practices for portfolio QA
processes across the organization

* Assist in driving project standard and practices and PPM standards across
QA groups.
