*Oracle DBA ( OCM Certified ) * Location : Minneapolis, MN Duration :- 6 + Month *Job Title* Oracle DB Administrator *Relevant Experience & Experience Required* *(in Yrs)* Experience in Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, RAC, Enterprise Manager or Database Console, Shell, DataGuard (Opt), ASM and either Linux, HP-UX, Sun Solaris or AIX experience - Basic technical knowledge across multiple technology areas including: Java platform, .Net framework, performance tuning, storage, networking, client libraries - Basic experience with data modeling, database design, and even Oracle patching methodologies - Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication skills - Minimum OCP Certification required, OCM Preferred *Technical/Functional Skills -MUST HAVE SKILLS* - Create monitoring, failover and failback capability in the various deployment modes. - Responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting simple to moderately complex components of the systems infrastructure. - Provide engineering, delivery and support of GoldenGate solutions within a UNIX, Windows, Oracle and Teradata environment - Setting up extracts and replicates and monitor the lag with automation. - Identify and implement design recommendations in support of new and changing needs of the business - Familiarity with rdbms to help setting up the golden gate process and working with the underlying tables for analysis. *Roles & Responsibilities* Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions Set up data sharing and disk partitioning Develop database utilities and automated reporting Create shell scripts for task automation Create, test and execute data management languages Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency Monitor systems and platforms for availability.
