Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. *MUST HAVES:* · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience; · 8-10 years of Business Analysis experience · Strong Health Care Domain knowledge · Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise; · Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices; · Takes initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside-in perspective to identify innovative solutions; · Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations; · Excellent written and verbal communications skills; *NICE TO HAVES:* · Gathers business and technical requirements for new systems or changes to existing systems; · Gathers and translates high-level requirements into detail requirements suitable for software design and development; · Analyzes and documents business requirements / processes and communicates these requirements to stakeholders; · Excellent client interaction and facilitation skills in support of formal requirements gathering sessions (e.g., JAD sessions), as well as informal requirements sessions (e.g., one-on-one meetings); · Conducts working group sessions with stakeholders to provide status updates, discuss requirements and address issues. · Formulates agendas, produces meeting minutes and ensures follow-up for action items; · Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet stakeholder needs and develops specifications to support these modifications; · Participates in requirements prioritization; · Reviews the test plans developed by the development and testing teams to ensure that they meet the requirements; · Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate commitment to quality and client satisfaction; · Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex and diverse environment with multiple and changing demands; · Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research; · Strong analytical and organizational skills; · Previous experience working in the Health Insurance industry -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
