Shared Analytics is seeking a Senior Informatica Administrator Lead with
deep technical expertise. The role is considered a key member of the ETL
admin team, as he or she will work with and lead other team members, and
work with IT and project teams to resolve, support and answer technical
questions. A firm understanding of data modeling, ETL and database
integration with front end applications for operational reporting and
analytics is a foundation for this role.

1. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in theInformatica suite of products
including but not limited to PowerCenter 9.x, Metadata Manager, Proactive
Monitoring, Messaging Queues, Jaspersoft Reporting, Web Services,
PowerExchange for VSAM, B2B Data Transformation, Data Validation Option,
Data Quality, and MDM.
2. Installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support
and troubleshooting of Informatica ETL Server implementations in shared,
isolated and dedicated environments.
3. Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex and critical
issues,and provide performance and tuning solutions to federated
development teams.
4. Contribute to both application functionality and capacity requirements
in a rapidly growing, changing and complex environment.
5. Protect and insure the stability of the operational systems as well as
maintain the integrity of data that is in motion, as well as, persisting.
6. Assist in determining the impact of operational issues and provide input
into their resolution via data extraction and quantification.
7. Coordinate and prioritize all escalated activities, including testing,
implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes.
8. Provide end-user support to multiple organizations within the company
when issues arise.
9. Perform regular admin tasks - migrations, setups, server accessibility
requests, decommission and cleanup activities.
10. Be available to provide 24 X7 support and on call coverage as required.
11. Support audit and compliance reporting requests.
12. Provide onshore and offshore team oversight.
13. Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best practices
and standards for the Data Integration environment.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree Information Technology or related field or equivalent
years of experience
· 8-10 years of experience in product implementation and administration of
ETL with concentration on Informatica suite of products
· 2 years experience working with database administrators (Oracle,
Teradata, DB2, Sybase, MSSQL)
· 2 years lead experience working with Data Warehousing, ETL Development
and ETL Architecture
· Requires advanced knowledge of this specific area of functional
responsibility and working knowledge of multiple related functions
· Working knowledge and experience with IBM AIX, Red Hat Linux, Windows
2003/2008, VM environment operating systems
· Knowledge and experience in implementing user level and data level
securities within ETL environment in conjunction with active directory
security
· Basic understanding of IIS, Tomcat and Java Services as it relates to the
Informatica infrastructure
· Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
· Strong understanding of various database platforms, including Oracle,
DB2, MS SQL, Teradata, Sybase
· Good understanding and knowledge of Mainframe Systems to resolve ETL
Issues and provide support
· Experience in the support/operation of an enterprise wide data warehouse,
(6-8 yrs. preferred)
· Solid knowledge of Unix Shell scripting
· Practical experience of SQL skills and basic PL/SQL knowledge
· Understanding of DNS, Firewall and VPN, SFTP configuration



*2. SAS Administrator*

Description



The SAS Administrator will provide support for SAS Unix server application
environment. You must be an experienced SAS administrator with skills for a
SAS 9.1.x environment. You will also participate in the production software
deployments, upgrades, capacity planning, backup strategies, as well as
software/hardware integration planning and will coordinate troubleshooting
and make recommendations for the configuration of the SAS application.
Research best practices and provide pre- and post-implementation
documentation. Perform daily tasks within the scope of SAS/Unix system
administration, including but not limited to, file system performance
monitoring, reviewing patch levels on operating system, Unix servers,
Windows web servers when required. Maintain awareness of new SAS releases,
patches and upgrades. Install as appropriate. Work closely with SAS user
areas to assure that their needs are being met and train business users in
established standards and procedures for SAS server environment.



Essential Functions:



• Installation, Administration, and Support of the software in conjunction
with SAS on UNIX.



• Monitor storage growth and work with user areas to develop purge
criteria. Coordinate with other IT groups on performance, storage issues,
etc. Coordinate with SAS "power users" to schedule production loads/jobs. •
Create and maintain user profiles and groups consistent with security
restrictions and performance considerations. Coordinate with IT Security as
required.



• Document operational processes and recovery procedures.



• Maintain environment configuration information. • Participate on project
teams as needed.



• Work independently to resolve issues and escalate to management and other
teams as needed.



• Administration of user access and security • Installation of SAS software
on client desktops • Performance tuning of both Server and Workstations •
Implementation of upgrades and patches to both Server and Workstations



• Perform code reviews to ensure proper design, standard, content and
functionality • Monitoring of servers, databases and workstations to ensure
availability and efficiency



• Database capacity and utilization planning • Archiving and back-up
planning



• Documentation of SAS server applications, workstation application and
security policies in force



• Disaster recovery planning • Administer budget chargeback process for all
server users.



*Qualifications *





Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.



• A minimum of 4 years of SAS System administration experience (SAS Version
9.1.x )



• A minimum of 5 years of RDBMS experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience.



• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems.



• Broad knowledge of database administration concepts, practices and
procedure on Linux/Unix platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:



• Additional knowledge of Oracle Administration.



• Programming skills on Java, PL/SQL, PERL.
