*Role : Business Analyst (JDE/ EDI)**
Duration : 6 + Months*
***Location : Land O Lakes, MN**
Rate : $80 c2c *
One of our top global clients has an immediate opening for contract JDE
Business Analyst with JDE (Version 8 or 9) and EDI knowledge. This is an
initial 6 month contract with likely extension for an additional 6
months. The ideal candidate will need to have experience with either the
customer/OM/receivables/invoicing or supplier/procurement/invoicing
functionality within JDE along with understanding EDI and how it
integrates with JDE.
_Responsibilities:_
__
·Plans and organizes own project work efforts such as determining
required activities and time estimates. Monitors progress towards plan.
·Prepares detailed specifications for system and business processes
which will be used by a cross-functional team to deliver highly complex
programs or perform complex system configurations.
·Elicits and documents business requirements for IT projects including
business requirements documents, functional specs, workflow diagrams,
use cases, and data flow diagrams.
·System knowledge to install, upgrade, configure, test and integrate JDE
business applications
·Ensures solution meets business goals and objectives through
requirements traceability and testing.
·Facilitates the solution implementation by managing the testing
process, training end-users on the solution, change management, and
participating in the transition to support.
·Identifies business needs through analysis of problems, opportunities,
and identification of gaps in current capabilities.
·Proposes solutions and scope.
·Understands the business principles and best practices in functional
area to ensure they are incorporated into and supported by solutions.
_Required Experience:_
__
·Extensive experience JDE (version 8 or 9) upgrade, implementations
and/or support
·EDI knowledge
·Either the customer/OM/receivables/invoicing or
supplier/procurement/invoicing functionality
