Multifaceted Cassandra role will be heavily involved with driving performance improvements in the application, serving as Cassandra and overall application architecture SME across performance/functional testing teams. Responsibilities will also include working with production support to resolve production issues. Resource should be able to handle multiple responsibilities in parallel to support varied priorities across the organization using Cassandra admin/monitoring skills to isolate issues, recommend improvements, etc. *Desirable Technical Skills* Extensive experience as Cassandra Administrator of 2+ years Hands-on expertise on installation and maintenance of Cassandra clusters Experience in shell scripting Experience driving resolution of performance concerns and production support issues (triage) Capable of developing tools as needed Ability to train others on Cassandra basics Testing background preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to summarize issues and resolution at an executive level *Desirable Functional Skills* Excellent communication skills Ability to summarize issues and resolution at an executive level *Total Experience Required:* Overall 6-10 years of experience.
