Insight Global is looking for 3 strong Java Developers who will be
replacing the current team and working alongside of a large group of
developers, testers, and analysts. These people will be providing
enhancements for their current web applications as well as creating new
interactive features from scratch. They will be working closely with the
team to prepare for the upcoming release in June and need to be strong in
both backend and front end development. There will be a design factor in
their day to day responsibilities. They need to be confident in their
skills working through the entire SDLC in an Agile environment and have
past experience working on an Oracle database.

*Quality Assurance Analyst *

The QA Analyst will be responsible for testing multiple Registry of Motor
Vehicles applications for Driver Licensing, License Plate Registration and
Civil/Criminal Citations. Testing includes ensuring full and correct
linkage, data integrity and functionality between separate components. The
QA Analyst must be able to test on mainframe, GUI-based and Web systems.



Summary:

The Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring the integrity
of new software, as well as the integrity of enhancements to existing
software. QA Analysts define the testing objectives, the scope of the
testing effort and the testing approach.

The candidate should be prepared to make an immediate impact within the QA
Team and contribute to building awareness of testing value. In addition to
developing test scripts, the candidate will need to interface with
managers, analysts, developers and key stakeholders throughout the
organization.



Responsibilities:

Define the scope and testing objective of business processes to be tested

Define the testing approach

Identify the key milestone dates and systems functionality/interfaces to be
tested

Write detailed QA Test Plans or test scripts

Create data required for positive and negative testing

Perform testing of Functional/Business Requirements and multiple
applications to ensure the full and correct linkage and integrity of data
and functionality between separate components.

Create and maintain Bug/Issues Logs, suggest improvements and re-test
fixes, maintaining a Testing Results Matrix to determine if all
functional/business requirements have been tested

Perform regression testing to prevent adverse effects on existing
functionality; execute testing under stress conditions

Assist the Training Department and help with User Acceptance testing, if
needed.

Post implementation, support the project during warranty and assist in
testing as a component of production support.

Quickly learn the business applications and business need for the systems
being tested.

Organize the testing effort and lead team members (when needed), defining
testing roles and responsibilities within the team.





Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent, in Business, Computer Science, or related
field.

A minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance Testing.

Knowledge of Windows, Web based and MS Access applications.

Experience with Data/Messaging Exchange between systems.

Basic understanding of SQL and Database Management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of
Industry Tool Sets, such as: Defect Management Applications, Modeling and
automated testing tools.

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on
Software Test Procedures, Techniques and Best Practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to
interact in a collaborative environment with all project members and
stakeholders.

Ability to perform and achieve objectives in a fast paced environment.

QA Certification is a plus.
