 *Core skills *

•         Extensive Teradata and BTEQ (Basic Teradata Query) Scripts

•         Have knowledge and exposed to  Informatica
 *Duties and Responsibilities: *

·         Work with business requirements and will act as a
business/technical analyst to identify and understand source data systems.

·         Create and maintain standard development life cycle documentation
as part of all development project tasks.

·         Used the fast Export, Multi Load utilities of Teradata.

·         Extensively wrote BTEQ scripts in Teradata

·         Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and
new business user requirements.

·         Performance tune new/existing programs that load data into the
data warehouse and act as the technical resource for the data warehouse
team.

·         Map source system data to data warehouse models, meet with
Technical Architects, Data Modelers and DBAs to review design strategies
for new ETL processes.

·         Strong technical analytical skills and an ability to provide
creative solutions to problems.

·         Participate in certain aspects of business user consulting,
system analysis, and general system designs.
