*Senior Database Administrator*

*Boston, MA*

*6 months to 1 year*



Client is looking to expand its Systems team by adding a talented and
creative database administrator willing to own all aspects of our database
infrastructure.  This broad role will see you managing infrastructure as a
key member of our Systems team and involve you in all aspects of our
software development lifecycle, from design through production support. You
will play a key role in maintaining the strong partnership with the
Software development team by working collaboratively with them at all
stages of the software development lifecycle.  You will also be principle
contributor to a range of strategic projects including:

Creating proactive maintenance, monitoring, and performance and be in
charge of day-to-day operations

Analyzing and improving overall site performance

Enhancing our central logging and analysis platform

Implementing High Availability, Disaster Recovery and testing

Deploying new data replication infrastructure

Creating a data warehouse and reporting platform

Researching new data caching models

Evaluate new SQL and NoSQL data technologies into our existing application
stack
