Database ETL Specialist *Position Type*: Contract *Location*: Newark, DE, United States *Description*: *Database ETL Specialist* We are looking for a strong candidate to bring past experience to the role. This candidate should be willing to have responsibility for designing and working on a team implementing multiple ETL mechanisms. The candidate must have a B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 3 to 5 years in experience. A minimum of 3 years related experience in designing and building ETL processes using SSIS and stored procedures. The primary engagement is to load and transform incoming files into various database tables. As well as, generate outgoing files from database tables in a CommonLine 4 format files. *Job Responsibilities* 1. Work with a team of talented senior level developers and architects to design, build, and guide testing of a new complex transaction processing system. 1. Participate in all stages of the project and development life-cycle – including, but not limited to, requirements gathering and development, system functional specifications and design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation support. 2. Develop and system test assigned data loads and file exports 3. Work with the QA team to test and obtain customer sign off each work stream 2. Provide guidance and insight into developing quality assurance test cases to validate data load processes. Experience with creating automated data comparison routines for automated testing is a plus. 6.
