The key area of focus for this role will be very strong SQL Development,
MUST have experience with AutoSys, Bash and Korn Shell scripting and MUST
have Ab Initio development experience.  All candidates must have good
communication skills.  The client will interview and hire off a Skye.

 Very good working experience with all the components of Ab Initio such as
Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather,
Merge, and Lookup.

Understand and can apply the principles for a metadata driven data warehouse

Working knowledge of Postgres, and Netezza databases.

Hands-on experience in using AutoSys Tool

Coordinating with Data Architect to support data model changes

Understands the Star and Snowflake Schemas.  Apply principles—fact,
dimensional models

Hands-on experience with bash and Korn shell scripting

Analyzes and document the current state data management systems
requirements.

Interacts with business analysts and prospective application managers in
order to gather requirements, performs implementations and guides
production rollouts while creating highly optimized batch & real-time
applications and ensuring the overall success of their programs.

Conducts data warehousing dimensional design patterns and fundamentals and
demonstrates experience in leveraging various Ab Initio components to
develop complex batch and continuous graphs.

Strong experience with SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning,
relational model analysis and data migration.

Interfaces with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams to define operational
processes and procedures.

Ensure Ab Initio codes base is appropriately engineered to maintain current
functionality and development adheres to performance optimization,
interoperability standards and requirements, and compliance with client IT
governance policies.

Provides technical design documents, Use Cases, test cases and writes
technical developer manuals for project.

Conducts or participate in bug fixing, code reviews, and unit, functional
and integration testing.

Acts as liaison to clients on highly technical and complex requests and
serves as a technical advisor to other junior team members.

Provide input, support and review estimates of work.

Position Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in
Computer Science, Engineering (all branches), Math, or a related field.

Excellent communication skills: crisp, succinct, and factual

Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables thru all
phases of the development lifecycle

Strong experience in Data Quality, Source Systems Analysis, Business Rules
Validation, Source Target Mapping Design, Performance Tuning and High
Volume Data Loads.

Ability to work in an Agile environment whereby work is accomplished within
the timeframe for a sprint.

Involvement with TDWI, DAMA or data community user groups is a plus.

Having any related certifications is a plus, such as CDMP, CCP, TDWI’s
CBIP, Business Intelligence tools, database Platforms and Informatica or
other ETL tools.
