*10 months +* *Phone & Skype* *ONLY GC, USC or EAD GC* *$40-45/hr* Summary Midlevel Oracle administrator with analytical skills able to solve complex problems, multi-task, work independently with guidance and provide technical expertise to other team members. Successful experience in maintaining all aspects of an Oracle environment and close interaction with demanding customer base. Tasks to be performed will include creating and maintaining Oracle databases, disaster recovery, write and test programs, actively provide performance monitoring and resolve performance issues. Job Responsibilities And Duties Performance tuning the database and SQL statements Installation and upgrades Troubleshoot problems as they arise Direct programmers and analysts to make changes to existing databases and database management systems Direct others in coding logical and physical database descriptions Review and approve database development and determine project scope and limitations Approve, schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems Implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information Education/Experience Associates degree in computer programming or relevant field required.
