Provide technical leadership and guidance to the other members of project development team. Experience in automation of the lifecycle of data flow within Hadoop through tooling like Oozie or other technologies, etc. Essential Criteria: Computer Science University degree with specialized training or equivalent work experience. Technical specialism in at least four technical areas such as Unix, AWS Cloud, Oracle, OSI PI, Composite, Messaging, Data Integration. Software development, configuration and administration expertise in any Hadoop Distribution including Map Reduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HBase, Oozie, Spark, Parquet/AVRO/JSON metadata, Kafka, Experienced working with backend database systems and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems for Data ingestion. A demonstrable experience of working with complex technical projects and a track record of solution delivery from start to finish Able to work effectively with multiple 3rd parties in a global virtual environment. Ability to rapidly grasp new concepts, achieve a high level of familiarity with new technologies and sense their application quickly. Desirable Criteria: Software development and infrastructure expertise with Pivotal Platform (Pivotal HD, HAWQ, Spring XD, GemFire XD) and/or Cloudera Hadoop distribution. Non-functional Infrastructure experience in performance tuning Hadoop. Good verbal, presentations and written communications skills.
