*$45/hr on c2c* Job Description: Our client, a national insurance leader, seeks a Senior Systems Analyst. We are looking for resources that have experience performance tuning mainframe applications in the area of COBOL, Assembler, VSAM, and/or DB2. Goal is to make changes without changing logic. Familiarity with tools such as APA and Strobe are a plus. Responsibilities: Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
