*6+ Months* *$50/hr* Job description The Automation Engineer is a developer who is passionate about cutting edge technologies with a proven background in software development, software quality engineering, agile(SCRUM), test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing. The candidate is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining automated test suites. They will work with the lead in developing a new framework or using an existing one to write automation scripts He or She will also work closely with Developers, Architects, and Operations to ensure application code Quality thru use of code reviews, UNIT test automation and will also be critical in standing up continuous integration and continuous delivery capabilities. Responsibilities and Skillset Experience with the following technologies (or similar): Primary: Java, C# .NET, Javascript, VBScript GIT/Jenkins Assertion Languages: Jasmine, Mocha, Chai Experience with Automation Tools & Technologies: Selenium Web Driver/Coded UI/ Protractor/SAHI Pro/KARMA Parasoft SOAtest, Parasoft Service Virtualize Design, develop, document, and maintain the automated test scripts. Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites Conduct peer code reviews. Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform Good attention to details Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) with at least 2+ years of experience Intermediate Objected Oriented Programming skills Experience in both Windows and Linux environments Knowledge of database concepts Experience working in Agile(SCRUM) teams Excellent communication skills. Demonstrates skills for out-of-the-box thinker. Solution oriented attitude in the design, development, and support of mission critical software.
