*Specific Skills:*


• Background or qualification in one of the creative arts, and a deep
knowledge, passion and expertise in that area.
• An exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience designing workflow, interaction and UI for
large-scale web applications or mobile applications.
• Effective communication skills (both in conversation and in writing),
especially focused on running work-sessions and articulating and defending
design decisions.
• Ability to work with technology experts to uncover and understand
technology requirements and capabilities as they relate to user experience.
• Effectively manage workload to meet deliverables within agreed
timeframes.
• Unconscious competence in appropriate software tools.
• Experience designing for mobile/tablets.


*User Experience Designer *


The UX Designer will be responsible for the creative vision behind the
delivery of innovative rich internet applications and digital enterprise
solutions. The position will also contribute to creating innovative user
interfaces across a variety of platforms and devices. They will thrive on
working under pressure in a team environment, and will have strong written,
communication and presentation skills.
The team member will be responsible for researching user needs and
designing, prototyping and testing user interfaces for traditional and
mobile applications and websites. Hershel will work with web and mobile
application developers to incorporate user feedback and testing into
application and web page designs.

*Duties*:


• Work in a fast-paced team environment of developers, customers, and peers
to achieve a common goal
• Work with clients and the broader UX team to translate business problems
and requirements into compelling UIs that demonstrate the power and value
of rich internet application experiences.
• Following user-centered design principles, the UX Designer will plan and
execute user experience tasks including business analysis, task and process
analysis, experience audits, user interviews, persona creation, report
writing, application architecture, wire framing, interaction design and the
specification of patterns and behaviors.
• As consultants, they will have the ability to quickly capture and
assimilate business domain knowledge, and be responsible for identifying
and translating business requirements and user needs into innovative
solutions that are valuable, useful and useable.
• They will be expected to work closely and confidently with other team
members, clients and key stakeholders and have a drive to design the best
user experiences.
• Constructive participation within the UX team to develop and refine best
practices and processes.
• Create iterative designs based on usability test results, or UI best
practices and standards.
• Conduct rapid iterative usability testing of wireframes, mockups, and
prototypes.
• Create navigation structures and information designs
• Develop mockup / prototype interaction designs, including user
interaction models, information architecture, wire frames and screen flows
using industry standard tools
