*1+ years* *Phone or Skype interview* *$28/hr on c2c* *GC, EAD GC and USC* TITLE: SOFTWARE QA TESTERS (NEED 3 RESOURCES) - Both automated and manual testing is needed.... Manager needs 3 QA resources to start in August. She wants them to have at least 3 years experience in QA. MUST be able to create simple SQL queries. Will be working with GAMS and GABS. GAMS is a higly customized system that formats data from FlexCube (Oracle product) to be sent to various parts of the bank for the remainder of the transaction processing. GABS is a business rules engine that is a heavily customized FlexCube environment. FlexCube experience is NOT needed for these resources. MUST have strong Analytical skills. The FSD's they get are not always the best, so candidate must be good at reading and understanding requirements and recognizing the gaps as they relate to UAT. For example, if 3 new buttons are being added to an app and the FSD only talks about 2, then the candidate must recognize that detail on the 3rd button is missing and speak up to the managers to point out the missing detail. MUST be proficient with UseCases and understand the "Happy Path" as well as the possible alternate paths of different transaction scenarios. Also need to understand Negative Cases. For example, what happens when you "break" something? What type of error is issued? MUST be able to visualize UseCases.
