Administer the Auto Configuration Server (ACS) suite of applications to
provide support to the help desk, engineering and provisioning teams as it
relates to broadband gateways supporting Internet access, Voice Over IP and
Video. - Perform day-to-day operations to support broadband gateway device
management. - Work closely with ACS vendor to track issues, outstanding
reporting and change requests. - Assist in troubleshooting software,
platform and broadband gateway issues based on internal monitoring or on an
escalation basis. -

Perform data collection and analysis to produce reports as requested. -
Test broadband gateway device configuration and firmware updates as
implemented by the Auto Configuration Server (ACS). - Plan and manage
update campaigns (settings or firmware) upon successful testing. - General
systems administration in a primarily Unix/Linux environment

Qualifications: -

* Working knowledge of TR-069 device management. - Working knowledge of
Internet Service protocols and applications (DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and
RADIUS). - Working knowledge of open source software and operating systems.
- Server update and configuration skills required. - Programming skills in
Python, PHP, PERL, and UNIX shell scripting or C. - Experience with the
Pace ECO Service Management platform, or similar, is a plus. - Information
Systems or Computer Science Bachelor Degree required. Skills: - Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, both on a proactive, planned, *project
basis as well as a crisis/problem recovery situation. - Must be
detail-oriented and self-managing. - Works with minimal supervision and
proactively communicates status, issues, and support needs to appropriate
manager(s). - Experience with fast-paced, time-constrained development
teams, with ability to multi-task well including priority management.
