*Job Responsibilities *
Job Summary
As the Pega UX Designer you will work in collaboration with stakeholders
as well as other contributors (designers, developers and business
analysts) to propose Pega UI solutions that balance user need with
business goals and technological capabilities. You will also seek to
exploit the opportunities for innovative visual design and user
experience offered by the newest Pega platform.
Main responsibilities
· Work on design projects either independently or within a team as
defined by the project plan
· Act as the Pega User Experience expert; to be available as a resource
for various Pega product/projects.
· Work directly with business analysts, system designers, technical
teams and information architects to create new and revise existing products.
· Present UI designs to stakeholders and the business team and gather
feedback and glean requirements through these sessions.
· Develop design ideas and basic concepts into fully worked out design
solutions for new projects.
· Assess current products and provide detailed recommendations for
improvement in user interface design and user experience based on UX
principals as well as Pega platform constraints and possibilities.
· Remain up to date on the newest Pega versions and inform project teams
and stakeholders on how we can best leverage new functionality and offering.
· Keep abreast of industry developments in new platforms and technology
(especially Pega) and be able to interpret how these would impact
company services from a design perspective.
· Maintain regular contact with team members and other designers to
ensure a consistent approach to the design style and branding of the
interactive output.
· Research and prepare material in support of new design concepts and
create working drawings, storyboards and layouts to evaluate and present.

*Qualifications *
Required
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 12 years’ experience in system design, system architecture, user
interface design or similar discipline
· 4 years full-time professional experience as a lead analyst on very
complex programs
· Strong Experience with DHTML, Html5, CSS, JavaScript, and other web UI
technologies.
· Ability to simplify complex UI designs and clearly express in
conversations and in writing.
· To create UI designs for complex systems that meet the business need
and provide a positive experience for the user.
· To learn and keep up to date on internal products with a high degree
of independence.
· Substantial demonstrable experience in interaction design,
complemented by knowledge of visual design, usability, accessibility,
and information architecture
· Work well with others as well as effectively work independently.
· Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of designers,
producers, and software developers
· Excellent organizational skills, with particular emphasis on assessing
priorities when dealing with heavy workloads and tight deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
present information concisely; and to influence others, and to
negotiate, persuade and sell ideas whilst maintaining trust and confidence.
