Role : Application Engineer Location : Woodcliff Lake – New Jersey Duration : 12+Months Contract Interview : Phone +F2F Skills : We seek a senior engineer with experience engineering, planning, installing and maintaining below systems, and who also possesses: · Excellent communications skills · Leadership qualities and abilities (you will help manage/coordinate several other engineers) · A Drive to Quality · Must have had Development back ground using MS technologies · Layer 7 experience or knowledge preferred · Troubleshooting skills (i.e. figuring out why something is working well in the QA environment, but not the Development environment). · Ability to develop and work with Runbooks for system documentation/configuration · Ability to come up to speed quickly on the client's US and International domains · Ability to assist in engineering and maintaining production environments, coordinating with the production engineers. · Polish, professionalism and a total team player attitude The candidate should possess a combination of Networking and Windows Server experience. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on engineering, implementation, and management of a significant amount of infrastructure used on a major Microsoft software development initiative. You will be working on setting up and maintaining small/mid-sized data centers, servers, software installation and configuration using: · Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 · SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, SSRS · SharePoint Server · 64- and 32-bit servers/VMs · Setting up Development, QA and Staging environments · A jack of all trades and willing to do other items, as application deployment.
